We are going to compare different versions of the storming of the Bastille. We will talk about the version that Charles Dickens talked about in his book "Tale of two cities", the version of the historians and the version that is told every year during the Bastille day in France. The main role of this website is to understand why there are so many different interpretations of this great event in history.

In brief words the Storming of the Bastille was the start of the revolution in France. In the 14 July 1789 the peasants attacked the prison of the king and freed the prisoners.
